Cabinet denounces agreement with Russia on Kerch Strait

The Cabinet of Ministers at its meeting on Wednesday decided to terminate the agreement with the Russian Federation on joint actions on organization of construction of the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait.
This was stated by Minister of the Cabinet Ostap Semerak after the government meeting, a Ukrinform correspondent reports
“Subject to the provisions of this agreement, we had to send a diplomatic message six months before the date of termination. We did it, and now completely calmly denounced the agreement today,” Semerak said.
“I believe that Russia is neither our brother, nor a distant relative or a friendly neighbor. And no common projects that would create a corridor of friendship will be between us, at least until completion of the annexation of Crimea and the conflict, in which the Russian troops are involved on the territory of Ukraine,” Semerak added.
