Britain urges NATO to prepare for Russian aggression

British Prime Minister David Cameron has called on NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and the leaders of the alliance to prepare for potential aggression from Russia.
“We must agree on long-term measures to strengthen our ability to respond quickly to any threat, to reassure those allies who fear for their own country’s security and to deter any Russian aggression,” he wrote in a letter to the leaders and secretary general of the alliance, which was obtained by Reuters.
Cameron said that NATO must overhaul itself to be able to better defend its members from a potential Russian military threat.
