US President Joe Biden said he didn’t give up his words that Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot stay in power.

Biden stressed that this did not mean a change in US policy towards Russia, and his opinion was based on emotions during the day.
“I don’t care what Putin thinks of my comment,” Biden said when asked if he cared that Putin would interpret the remark as an escalation.
“I reported this not only to the Russians but to the whole world. It’s just a statement of the simple fact that such behavior is completely unacceptable. ”
“I will not take anything back. I want to make it clear that neither then nor now I do not change my mind. I have expressed the moral indignation I feel – I do not apologize for my personal feelings,” he added.
