The press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine noted on January 13, 2023, that another batch of energy equipment – backup power plants has arrived from Azerbaijan to Ukraine.

“On January 11, 2023, the second part of the aid for the energy sector of Ukraine – 45 standby power plants with a capacity of 94 to 150 kVA was received from Azerenergy (Azerenerji Joint Stock Company), the Republic of Azerbaijan,” noted the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
It is noted that the first batch of equipment from Azerbaijan, which included 45 power transformers and 5 backup power plants, has already been distributed among energy companies and transferred to the regions of Ukraine most affected by the Russian attacks.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushchenko, expressed his personal gratitude to his colleague, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, for the quick reaction and effective, timely support.
In general, the aid provided by JSC “Azerenergy” consists of 45 power transformers and 50 generators. The total cost is more than 800 thousand dollars.
