The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted on January 26, 2023, that Austria handed over 33 gasoline generators for the needs of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“Recently, 33 gasoline generators for the needs of Ukrainian rescuers arrived from Austria. The equipment, worth 91,000 euros, was donated by the Office for National Crisis Management and National Disaster Management, Crisis Response, International Disaster Relief and Civil Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Austria through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism,” reported the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that generators with a capacity of 9 to 80 kW will be used to power the unbreakable points and to provide electricity to entire buildings.
In December 2022, the Austrian Red Cross delivered 21 powerful generators to Lviv (the largest city in western Ukraine).
