Some Russian military equipment was destroyed by the artillery almost immediately after the invasion of Ukraine.
President Petro Poroshenko said in a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister David Cameron, the press service of the President informs.
“Much of this equipment was destroyed by the Ukrainian artillery at night,” a statement reads.
Information about destruction of Russian military equipment was also confirmed by the National Security and Defense Council.
“I want to reassure: this column was led, it always was under the supervision of our intelligence and weapons of destruction, appropriate active actions were made and a part of the column does not exist now,” Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko noted.
