Armenian community of Kyiv sends 20 tonnes of products to ATO area

The Armenian community of Kyiv and the region handed over 20 tonnes of the humanitarian aid for police workers in the ATO area.
A handing-over ceremony took place on the territory of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Kyiv, Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Members of the community gathered the necessary products – canned food, cereals, sugar, water, which we by trucks send jointly with the Interior Ministry to Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” head of the community Norik Gevorgyan said.
In addition, he informed, this morning, the community in Kharkiv, which is a part of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine, sent 100 tonnes of humanitarian aid under the auspices of the Red Cross.
“Such actions will continue, members of the Armenian community, who do not keep aloof the events in Ukraine, ask us about this,” Gevorgyan said.
