Rinat Akhmetov is willing to sacrifice all his business in order that peace was on the Donbas land.
Businessman and president of FC Shakhtar said in comments about the loss from shelling of the Donbas Arena stadium, which, according to preliminary estimates, was USD 1 million.
“The damaged building, even such as the Donbas Arena, is a trifle compared to the real value – human life. If I was asked if I was ready to have our stadium smashed into small pieces, and I lost all my business, but there was peace in Donbas, I would agree, not hesitating a second,” the website of the FC Shakhtar quoted Akhmetov.
