According to Oleksiy Hromov, the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian army is restraining Russian troops in a land area with a total length of 3,390 km, and the active front line is 850 kilometers as of September 29, 2022.

“Russian soldiers continue to resist, pull up reserves, and conduct mobilization. Today, Ukraine continues to deter Russians on a land area with a total length of 3,390 km, including an active front line with Russian troops is 850 km long.”
According to Oleksiy Hromov, 78 combat encounters with Russian servicemen took place this week during the operations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
“The next stage of active actions of military units of the Land Forces, Air Assault Forces with the support of the Air Force aviation in cooperation with units of other branches of the Armed Forces, as well as units of the National Guard, State Border Guard Service and other components of the defense forces in Slobozhanskyi operational area continues.”
