Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe. The newly formed government intends to vigorously combat this problem, including through the EU and other international partners.
Newly appointed Economic Development and Trade Minister Ayvaras Abromavichus said in an interview with AFP.
“If there are no reforms that will strengthen our economy, sovereignty will be at stake,” Hromadske TV quoted the Minister.
Abromavichus considers the “excessive bureaucracy,” creating opportunities for corruption, as another problem of Ukraine and his ministry.
