700,000 people remain in Donetsk

About 700,000 people, according to Donetsk City Council, currently live in Donetsk.
This was stated by Deputy Donetsk Mayor Kostiantyn Savinov, the Novosti Donbassa (News of Donbas) online newspaper reported.
“According to our forecasts, 20% of residents will not return, as they settled down in other regions of Russia and Ukraine… Among other things, this means that the owners of 30,000 apartments will not pay for heating and other utility services. These are significant additional losses for the city budget,” he said.
