The foreign ministers of France, Germany, and Poland support the creation of a special training and aid mission within the EU for the Ukrainian army.

“We recognize that helping sustain Ukrainian forces, in the long run, entails going beyond the provision of equipment, notably by setting up a dedicated European training and assistance mission in the EU for Ukrainian forces that would also ensure maintenance and repair of military equipment.”

Diplomats stress the importance of supporting Ukraine’s struggle for sovereignty and the European values of democracy, freedom, and rule-based order.

France, Poland and Germany also confirm their support for Ukraine’s legal proceedings against the Russian Federation.

“France, Germany and Poland reiterate their firm stance with Ukraine and continued strong support for Ukraine’s overall economic, military, social and financial resilience.”
