The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska noted during the press conference “United for Justice” on March 4, 2023, that the prosecutor’s office is investigating 171 cases of sexual violence against Ukrainians by Russian soldiers, 39 men are among the victims.

“In the Kherson region, a Russian soldier repeatedly raped a 62-year-old woman at gunpoint, in the Kyiv region, a mother and a girl were raped, and father was beaten and forced to watch. Another family in the Kyiv region – a mother, daughter and granddaughter. They were raped for two weeks. In Sviatohirsk – a woman was raped by three soldiers of the Russian Federation. All victims are now working with psychologists,” explained the First Lady of Ukraine.
Olena Zelenska noted that 171 cases of sexual violence against Ukrainians are currently being investigated by the Prosecutor General’s Office. Among the injured – 39 men, 13 minors, including a boy.
“According to this figure, not only women are among the victims, there are 39 men, 13 minors, including a boy. We know about these cases only because these people found the strength to speak. We do not know how many suffer in silence, especially in the occupied territories,” added the First Lady of Ukraine.
