1,500 persons killed in Donetsk region – OSCE

In Donetsk region, during the armed conflict 1,498 persons were killed, including 21 children from March 13 to October 8.
These data were made public by the OSCE at its website .
“1,498 people, including 21 children, had been killed in the entire region of Donetsk from 13 March 2014 to 8 October 2014. According to the director there are 60 bodies in the basement of the morgue, 20 of which have not been identified,” a report reads.
As reported, a process of identification and burial are held appropriately, and all information on this occasion is stored in the database.
Earlier published UN data showed that as of October 6 (during six months of the conflict in Ukraine’s east) 3,660 people were killed and 8,756 were wounded. According to the UN, in total, in Ukraine’s east, about 5 million people suffered as a result of continued violation.
