December 21 – In Odesa, the officers of counterintelligence unit of Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have detained the saboteur, who as part of a subversive group, planned terrorist attacks on administrative buildings in Odesa region, – said the Advisor to the Head of SSU Markiyan Lubkivsky.
December 21 – In the foreseeable future, self-proclaimed “People’s Republic of Donetsk” (PRD) will not be able to become part of Russia, – informs “Ostrov” with reference to “PRD press center.” The statement was made by the “Minister for Foreign Affairs of People’s Republic of Donetsk”.
December 21 – Negotiations between the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took place behind closed doors in Presidential Administration in Kyiv. During the meeting Petro Poroshenko had thanked the President of Belarus for his support of territorial integrity of Ukraine and non-recognition of the fake elections on November 2nd (in “People’s Republic of Donetsk” and “People’s Republic of Luhansk”).

December 21 – Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a decree on a government commission charged with providing humanitarian aid to conflict affected areas in southeastern Ukraine. Thus Russia has decided to openly support terrorist organizations “People’s Republic of Donetsk” and “People’s Republic of Luhansk”.
December 21 – Ukraine’s National Border Patrol Service states that 190 trucks of the next so-called “humanitarian convoy” from Russia crossed the border on Sunday morning. “Taking into account that the representatives of the International Red Cross did not participate in the transition of the materials, the Ukrainian gathered sub-division did only a visual check of the Russian goods crossing the border without fulfilling the controllingl functions placed on it,” stated a press-service announcement. The visual control was done at the border-crossing points “Donetsk” and “Matveiev Kurhan” on Russian territory by two brought-together border-tax groups. Specifically, the Russian side formed a one-way passage from 7:05 to 8:40 on Sunday through the passage point “Donesk” of 92 transport vehicles, and from 7:35 to 8:50 through the passage point “Matveiev Kurhan” (both Russian), there passed 98 machines. President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko stated that Russia in its convoys is transporting to Donbas fuel for tanks and materials for building blockposts for terrorists, which is not permitted.
December 21 – In order to strenghten the defensive capacity of Ukraine, RNBO has ratified the decision to renew beginning in 2015 the enrollment for military service. This was announced by RNBO Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov after the meeting of the Radbez, informs Ukrainform: “From 2015 we are renewing military draft. Once more I emphasize from next year we are renewing military draft. Our citizens will be called to serve for one and a half years: with the exception of those who have higher education (B.A., M.A., Specialist). Such citizens will undergo military duty for one year,” he informed. According to Turchynov there will also be a change in the age of the draftee. “We will not draft people aged 18, butfrom 20. Therefore, the draft will apply to people aged 20 to 27. Young men, 18-19 years old, will not be drafted next year,” stated
RNBO Secretary.
