December 9 – 6 Ukrainian military were killed and 7 injured in the last 24 hours in the ATO area, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko.

December 9 – Ukraine will annually approve the action plan Ukraine-NATO, – stated Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

December 9 – The state border between Ukraine and the Russian Federation (project “European Wall”) will be equipped over a 4 year period, – stated Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

December 9 – Ukraine has filed a series of lawsuits against the Russian Federation in order to compensate for damage caused by its military aggression against Ukraine – Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Two lawsuits were filed to the European Court. A claim against the Russian Federation in the International Court of Justice is under way; it concerns the violation of the Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism by Russia. Russia is funding terrorism and this it should answer for.

December 9 – Simferopol City Council has prohibited Crimean Tatars from holding a rally on December 10th – the rally is dedicated to International Day of Human Rights, – stated the Head of the Election Commission of Kurultai of Crimean Tatars, one of the coordinators of the Committee on Protecting the Rights of Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlyayev.

December 9 – “Located at the Arabat Spit and peninsulas Chongar and Ad, Russian armed forces are now retreating from Kherson oblast. This is one of our joint victories!” – Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Viktor Nazarenko. Russian armed forces are now taking up positions at the administrative border of Crimea.
