The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko reported on April 21, 2023, that the Russian army continues to shell the territory of the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine). Civil infrastructure was damaged, one civilian was killed and one more was injured.

Novoukrayinka in the Vuhledar community was shelled from Grad multiple rocket launchers, Bohoyavlenka was shelled from artillery, and Prechystivka from incendiary munitions.
Isolated shelling of the old part of Avdiivka was recorded in the Donetsk direction.
“1 person was killed in the Chasiv Yar community in the Horlivka direction. In Bakhmut, 2 high-rise buildings and 8 private houses were destroyed. 2 more houses were damaged in Toretsk community. Kostiantynivka was hit by S-300 missiles — the unfinished building was damaged,” informed the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
In addition, 1 person was injured in Zarichne of the Lymansk community in the Lysychansk direction.
