Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that 1 civilian was killed and 7 others were hospitalized as a result of the morning Russian shelling of Kherson on April 18, 2023.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration noted that there were no military facilities near the place of shelling.
“The terrorist state [Russia – ed.] launched an attack on peaceful Kherson residents. One person was killed. Seven civilians from Kherson were injured. Doctors are currently fighting for their lives,” informed the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Earlier, Oleksandr Prokudin said that the Russian army carried out 57 shellings, firing 342 shells from heavy artillery, UAVs and aviation over the Kherson region on April 17, 2023. The city of Kherson was shelled 6 times.
“Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the populated areas of the region; the territory and buildings of the children’s health camp of Bilozerka village community and the power line in Chornobaivka village community were damaged,” noted Oleksandr Prokudin.
