The police of the Kherson region informed that the right bank of the Kherson region (south of Ukraine) suffered from massive Russian missile strikes on April 16, 2023. Two women were killed and one more was injured.

The Russian army hit the settlements of Beryslav and Kherson districts with artillery, mortars, multiple rocket systems, UAVs and aviation. The territory of the recreation center, warehouses, houses, farm buildings, cars and agricultural machinery were damaged.
“Russian troops bombed the city of Beryslav and the surrounding villages and damaged residential and civilian infrastructure there. Some houses cannot be restored due to direct hits. In addition, 3 cars of police were damaged as a result of repeated attacks from drones and the dropping of grenade launchers on residential quarters of the city,” reported the police of the Kherson region.
According to the National Police, Kherson was subjected to round-the-clock Russian fire, the blast wave broke windows in the apartments of high-rise buildings and the facades of buildings and roof coverings were damaged.
“Two women were killed and a school building was damaged during artillery shelling by Russian troops in the Tavriyskyy microdistrict. In the suburbs, projectiles broke the glass on the windows of houses, vehicles were damaged by fragments of rockets. Also, the Russian army continuously attacked the Korabel neighborhood and the coastal zone. They fired at a country cooperative near the village of Sadove, a 59-year-old woman was injured,” added the police of the Kherson region.
