The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine noted that Russian troops once again shelled the territory of the Kherson region on February 19, 2023. 3 civilians were killed and 5 injured.

According to the investigation, in the morning of February 19, 2023, Russian military shelled the liberated territory of the Kherson region.
“Russian shells hit residential buildings, as a result of which three residents were killed in one of the settlements,” informed the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the Kherson regional Military Administration, three civilians were killed at the scene of the tragedy – a father, mother and uncle. Four people were injured: a grandmother, an adult man, a 10-year-old girl, and an 8-year-old boy.
“All the wounded were taken to a medical facility, where doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance,” added the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In addition, civilian infrastructure and power lines were also damaged in the Kherson region.
