Losses to the civil and critical infrastructure of Ukraine due to Russia’s war exceeded $127B

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova noted on January 14, 2023, that the amount of damage caused to the civil and critical infrastructure of Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression exceeded 127 billion dollars.

“According to the latest estimates. we have, the total amount of damage to Ukrainian civil and critical infrastructure exceeds 127 billion dollars,” explained the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

According to Emine Dzhaparova, the restoration of Ukraine will be one of the largest investment projects.

“Ukraine has become the largest construction site in Europe, which provides a wide range of opportunities for international partners to use the best practices in the field of engineering, construction and technology transfer,” added the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ruslan Strilets said that Russia caused damage to Ukraine’s ecology in the amount of $46B.
