The Kyiv Regional Military Administration noted that at night on December 31, 2022, the Kyiv region repelled an attack by Russian kamikaze drones and missiles. Air defense forces of Ukraine shot down 32 air targets over Kyiv during the Russian attack. However, an infrastructure object was damaged.

“At night, the Kyiv region repelled an attack by kamikaze drones. The terrorist country targeted the energy infrastructure facilities of Ukraine. Almost three dozen drones were launched in the region,” explained Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
According to preliminary information, there were no injured civilians.

“Previously, there were no casualties. There is damage to the infrastructure object. Emergency services worked all night at the scene of the shooting,” added the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
The military administration of Kyiv also reported that in the Dniprovskyi region, the wreckage of a missile was recorded on the roadway. No one was injured as a result of falling debris.
“According to preliminary information, air defense forces of Ukraine destroyed 32 Russian air targets,” concluded Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
