Explosion took place at the airfield in Russian city of Kursk (Video)

An explosion occurred near the airfield in the Russian city of Kursk, which is only 160 km from the Ukrainian border on the morning of December 6, 2022. According to preliminary data, an oil storage tank is on fire as a result of a strike by a combat drone.

“As a result of a drone attack, an oil storage tank caught fire near the Kursk airfield. Firefighters are trying to contain the flames. Special services are already working at the scene. There are no injured people,” wrote the Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starvoyt.

The following videos show a large-scale fire at the airfield in Kursk. The flame is so strong that it can be seen from all parts of the city.

 

 

Earlier on December 5, it was reported that there were explosions at Russian military airfields in the Saratov region and near Ryazan, which resulted in damage to the planes.

The Russian Ministry of Defense blamed Ukraine for the attack. The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that the explosions were “confirmation of the degradation” of the military infrastructure of the Russian Federation.
