The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov noted on November 29, 2022, on Twitter that another French multiple rocket launcher LRU had already arrived in Ukraine.

“The 4th brother in the Long Hand family, LRU from France, has arrived in Ukraine! The Ukrainian army now is even more powerful for deterring&destroying the enemy [Russian troops – ed.]. That is a visible result of the friendship between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the President of France Emmanuel Macron. Thank you to Sébastien Lecornu [French Defense Minister – ed.] and the government & people of France!” Oleksiy Reznikov wrote on Twitter.
In addition, Ukraine recently received another batch of military aid from France, which included two batteries of Crotale anti-aircraft missile systems and two rocket launchers.
Uaposition memo: LRU (Lance Roquette Unitaire) is a French modernization of the American M270 multiple launch rocket system. There is also the German variant MARS II (Mittleres Artillerieraketensystem) and the Italian – MLRS-I (MLRS Improved).
