The Minister of Defense of Slovakia Jaroslav Nad wrote on Twitter on November 29, 2022, that Slovakia handed over 30 BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.

“Glad to confirm that 30 Slovak BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles were donated to Ukraine based on agreement with Germany. Thanks Christine Lambrecht [German Minister of Defense – ed.] for excellent cooperation,” wrote the Minister of Defense of Slovakia.
It should be noted that earlier the Slovak government promised to transfer 30 infantry fighting vehicles BMP-1 to Ukraine in exchange for Bratislava’s receiving 15 Leopard 2A4 tanks from Berlin.
Ukraine also received another Zuzana 2 Howitzer self-propelled artillery installation from Slovakia.
