Almost 1,000 bodies of civilians were found in the liberated Ukrainian territories

The Head of the Department of Organizational Analytical Support and Operational Response of the National Police of Ukraine noted on November 17, 2022, that the bodies of 991 civilians were found in the liberated from Russian troops territories of the Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions of Ukraine.

“The National Police of Ukraine ensured stabilization measures and restoration of law and order in 577 settlements in the liberated territories of the Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. The work of 15 police units was restored, and 3,559 Russian war crimes were documented. The bodies of 991 civilians were found,” Oleksiy Sergeev said.

According to the Head of the Department of Organizational Analytical Support and Operational Response of the National Police of Ukraine, in total, the National Police explosives officers removed 33,000 explosive items.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi, stated that 63 bodies of tortured people were found in the Kherson region.
