“Green” energy is probably the most affected sector because in the south of Ukraine we have the main part of the capacities. We lost approximately 90% of the “wind” and 45-50% of the “sun”. These are huge losses,” said the head of the Ministry of Energy.

At the same time, according to Herman Galushchenko, Ukraine has great potential for the development of renewable energy, in particular wind energy. And Europe is interested in investing in this direction after the end of the war.

“We had a strategy that predicted that in 2030 the share of “green” energy in Ukraine’s energy balance would be at least 25%. I think that after our victory, taking into account the destruction caused by Russia, we may revise it and increase the percentage,” added the Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
