The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted on October 14, 2022, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already liberated 1,620 settlements from Russian soldiers.

“Today is an important holiday – the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. The Day of Heroes, who are respected by the whole country and whose feats have been heard all over the world. I congratulate all those who defend Ukraine, and we remember all those who gave their lives for the sake of Ukraine. 1,620 Ukrainian settlements have already been liberated from Russian troops thanks to Ukraine’s defenders.”
In particular, 75 settlements have already been liberated in the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine.
Accordintg to the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the 233rd day of the heroic resistance of the people of Ukraine to the insidious aggression by the Russian Federation continues, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine heroically perform their work, as well as emergency, special and communal services of Ukraine work almost around the clock.
