Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said on September 27, 2022, that the US Lend-lease program for Ukraine had to start as early as October 1, 2022. After receiving weapons from the United States under the Lend-Lease program, the Armed Forces will be able to launch a counteroffensive on the entire front line.

Expert Zhdanov is sure that the American Lend-Lease program will help the Ukrainian defenders to advance on the entire front – from Kharkiv to Kherson.
“Lend-Lease will help us speed up the transition to counteroffensive actions along the entire front line. Today, we can afford a counteroffensive in certain operational areas. Lend-Lease will allow us to do it on the entire front – from Kharkiv to Kherson,” the expert is convinced.
According to the expert, the delivery time of weapons will depend on the ammunition depots that Washington will use to send weapons from – American or European.
“The first weapons received under Lend-Lease will be in Ukraine some time in mid-October, depending on where they will be supplied from. If from European warehouses, then they will be delivered in the first week or in the first decade of October. If directly from the United States, then the weapons will be in the middle – the second half of October. Weapons can be delivered by both planes and steamships.”
