The Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported on September 18, 2022, that Russian soldiers opened fire during the evacuation of patients of the mental hospital in Strileche, Kharkiv region. As a result, 4 doctors died and 2 patients were injured.

“Russian troops mercilessly terrorize the civilian population. Doctors tried to evacuate patients of a mental hospital in the village of Strileche, Kharkiv region. Medical workers even under fire, risking their lives, tried to save the patients. Although they were able to evacuate 30 patients from the hospital, there are still more than 600 there.”
According to the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Russians began massive shelling during the evacuation.
“According to preliminary information, unfortunately, 4 doctors were killed and 2 patients were hurt. These are the actions of Heroes, and we express our deepest condolences. Russians are terrorists and war criminals because they stop at nothing!”
