“The Ukrainian counteroffensive is tangibly degrading Russian logistics and administrative capabilities in occupied southern Ukraine.”
The counteroffensive actions of Ukrainian soldiers prevented Russia’s plans to hold “referendums” in the occupied territories of Ukraine. All processes are stopped “for security reasons”.
“Ukrainian forces intend to slowly chip away at both Russian tactical and operational level capabilities in Kherson Oblast, and in doing so will likely have significant impacts on the administrative and bureaucratic capabilities of occupation officials.”
In addition, according to ISW experts, Russian leaders continue to search for unconventional sources of combat power and are increasingly turning towards the sick and infirm.
Earlier, the Institute for the study of war reported that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is gaining progress in the south and east.
