It is assumed that each adult Ukrainian refugee will receive direct assistance in the amount of 400 euros per month, and for minors – 100 euros each. Funds will be paid within a maximum of six months.

Ukrainians must confirm that they are using the temporary protection regime in Spain and are not dependent on local charitable organizations and have no other sources of income to receive assistance.

As for minors, adults who will receive funds instead of a child must confirm their status. If there are two parents or guardians, only one of them will receive an additional €100.

According to the estimates of the Spanish Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, there are about 130,000 Ukrainian refugees in the country, most of whom live on their own or rely on family and friends.

In addition, the Spanish government has approved an additional €30 million in funding for autonomous communities to offset the costs of hosting Ukrainian refugees under the EU temporary protection.
