The paratroopers from Chosen Company, Second Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade held some examination lanes to test the skills of the Ukrainian National Guard. The lane exercises during Fearless Guardian were to assess the progress the soldiers made since the beginning of training. The training lanes organized by 2nd Lt. Joseph Frechette tested the soldiers on several different areas of training.
Fearless Guardian is the name given to the U.S. training and equipping of the National Guard of Ukraine under the Congress-approved Global Security Contingency Fund-Ukraine. Fearless Guardian is a training exercise for the Ukrainian National Guard at the request of the Ukrainian Government.
