Yatseniuk: Negotiations with Russia alone hopeless, another format needed

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk considers it futile to negotiate with Russia bilaterally. Negotiations can be only effective in the Geneva format (EU, U.S., Ukraine, Russia).
He stated this at a government meeting on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.
“As for negotiations, I note once again: it is unpromising to sit at the table of bilateral negotiations with them. One of the most effective and real formats is the Geneva format, which involves the U.S., EU, Ukraine and our northern geographical neighbor,” Yatseniuk said.
The head of government once again stated the non-fulfillment of Minsk agreements by the Russian side: “It is inexpedient to again call on Russia to fulfill what it agreed to. But I consider it necessary to remind about the need to perform each of 12 items of Minsk agreements… When you give the word, you must keep it. I see that they experience difficulty with this.”
