Yatseniuk meets with Biden

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has held talks with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, who is on a visit to Kyiv, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers has told Ukrinform.
According to the press service, Yatseniuk told Biden that a coalition agreement had already been initialed and that Ukraine expected the speedy formation of a new Cabinet of Ministers “to implement the association and free trade agreement with the EU, move forward, change the country and implement real reforms.”
The U.S. vice president stressed the importance of yesterday initialing of the coalition agreement. He said that it was important for the whole world to see that Ukraine had completed this process, appointed all ministers appointed and started to work.
He said that Ukraine had already made significant steps in the fight against corruption and in attempts to stabilize the economy in this very difficult situation. The United States wants to help Ukraine, Biden said.
In the afternoon Biden is to hold talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
