Up to 30,000 Russian soldiers and terrorists fighting in Donbas

About 15,000-20,000 armed militants from Donbas and from Russia, as well as about 5,000-10,000 servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, are fighting against the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation forces in eastern Ukraine.
The spokesman for the anti-terrorist operation, Vladyslav Selezniov, said this at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday, while answering a question from a Ukrinform correspondent.
“I count that these are 15,000-20,000 armed militants and 5,000-10,000 Russian soldiers who are on a part of Ukrainian territory currently controlled by bandit groups,” Selezniov said.
He also noted that accurate and detailed information in this regard was closed. “Our intelligence structures have some data on the number of militants in eastern Ukraine and professional Russian military. However, accurate and detailed information in this regard is not disclosed so as to prevent the Russian side from understanding the extent of our knowledge about the situation,” Selezniov said.
