Ukrainians in October sell $114 mln more currency than they purchase

Net sales of foreign currency by the Ukrainians in October amounted to $113.9 million, which is 2.5 times lower than the net sales in the previous month, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.

In October, the banks sold $179 million of cash currency to the population, buying $65.1 million in the same period, as reported on the NBU website.

According to the data released, the net sales of currency by Ukrainians since the beginning of the year, January-October, totaled $2,421 billion.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the net sales of foreign currency by the Ukrainian population in September amounted to $283.4 million, in January-September, it was $2.307 billion.
