Ukrainian banks suffered losses worth UAH 13.5 billion in January-October this year, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.
“Losses in the banking system as of November 1, 2014 amounted to UAH 13.5 billion,” reads the statement.
In general, the revenues and expenditures of banks over this period reached UAH 174.8 billion and UAH 188.3 billion respectively. Revenues grew by 28.8% compared to the same period last year, while expenditures rose by 40.9%.
