The strength of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to be increased to 250,000 people next year.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said this in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The strength of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has increased. Last year we had 130,000 people and now we have 232,000. It is planned to bring the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen to 250,000,” Poltorak said.
