Ukraine, Russia agree to resume border control

Heads of border guard services of Ukraine and Russia are negotiating the renewal of border controls.
The media liaison department of the State Border Guard Service informs.
Negotiations are held in the Russian checkpoint of Nekhoteyevka.
“On behalf of the President of Ukraine, at the checkpoint of Nekhoteyevka (Russian Federation), the checkpoint of Hoptivka (Ukraine) today, at the level of heads of border guard departments of Ukraine and Russia, there are consultations on resuming control of the state border of Ukraine and on prevention of further illegal cross-border movement of arms, military equipment and personnel,” a statement reads.
The agency promised that the results of the meeting will be announced later.
