Ukraine has repaid UAH 38.6 billion as expenditures on servicing public debt and UAH 83.4 billion as expenditures on repaying public debt as of November 17, 2014, the State Treasury Service has reported.
“Expenditures on servicing public debt amounted to UAH 38,586,800,000 (UAH 26,575,700,000 on domestic public debt and UAH 12,011,100,000 on foreign public debt)… Expenditures on repaying public debt amounted to UAH 83,399,400,000 (including UAH 53,539,200,000 on domestic public debt and UAH 29,860,200,000 on foreign public debt),” reads the report.
In general, the state budget envisages nearly UAH 41.8 billion as spending on servicing public debt in January-November 2014 and UAH 103.2 billion on repaying the debt.
As of November 17, government borrowing stood at UAH 233.327 billion, of which domestic borrowing amounted to UAH 152.442 billion and external borrowing UAH 80.886 billion.
