Ukraine not planning to become nuclear power again – Poroshenko

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has ruled out the possibility that Ukraine might bring back its nuclear status.
He said this in an interview with ABC.
Poroshenko said that a return to nuclear status would be absolutely irresponsible.
“We can win the aggressor only when we will be united and when the whole world demonstrates exactly what we have now: solidarity with Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.
In addition, he said, nuclear power is a 20th century technology that does not guarantee security in the 21st century.
