Exports of goods from Ukraine in January-October 2016 compared to January-October 2015 decreased by 7.9%, to $29.113 billion, and imports – by 0.1%, to $31.202 billion, according to the State Statistics Service.
The deficit of foreign trade in Ukraine in January-October 2016 amounted to $2.089 billion against a $397.1 million surplus in the same period last year.
As reported on the website of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, exports of goods from Ukraine in January-October 2016 compared to January-October 2015 decreased by 7.9%, to $29.113 billion, while imports – by 0.1%, to $31.202 billion.
The export-import coverage ratio was at 0.93 (in January-October 2015, it was 1.01). Foreign trade operations in this period were carried out with partners from 222 countries.
