Ukraine has no grounds to speak about preparation of martial law – Hroisman

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Hroisman denied information about preparation of the martial law in Ukraine.
He told a briefing about this, Ukrinform’s correspondent reports.
“I do not see any grounds to speak today that Ukraine takes any decisions on introduction of martial law,” Hroisman said.
According to him, information about possibility of introduction of martial law due to consideration by the parliament of amendments to the Law of Ukraine on the National Security and Defense Council does not reflect reality.
The Speaker emphasized that those amendments that were adopted today in the first reading and sent back for revision, are only necessary to bring the existing legislation into conformity.
