Turkey increases period of visa-free stay for citizens of Ukraine

The Turkish authorities have increased the period of visa-free stay for the citizens of Ukraine.
The decision taken by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkey to increase the period of visa-free stay for the citizens of Ukraine on the territory of Turkey from 60 to 90 days was published in the official government newspaper Resmi Gazete, Anadolu reports.
The decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the basis of the 18th article, dated May 27 notes that the total period of stay of Ukrainian citizens in Turkey has been increased from 60 to 90 days within 180 days from the date of entry.
Unian memo. On August 1, 2012, Turkey lifted the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens. Since then, the Ukrainians could enter the territory of Turkey without a visa for a stay of up to 60 days, provided that the total period of stay in Turkey would not exceed 90 days within six months from the date of first entry.
