Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov awarded nine soldiers, who defended the Donetsk airport with firearms.
He did this on the TV channel “1+1” in the program “Bravehearts.”
“This war is very difficult, but thanks to such soldiers as you, we will win,” Turchynov said, handing firearms, manufactured in Ukraine, to Ukrainian patriots.
No names or surnames of the soldiers were called, they were presented only by their callsigns.
