There will be no peacekeeping troops in Ukraine – president

There will be no peacekeeping forces in Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this at a press conference “Strategy 2020,” while answering questions from journalists, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“There will be no peacekeeping forces, because the experience of using peacekeeping troops in Transdniestria and other frozen conflicts has led to states losing sovereignty over these territories. There will be no peacekeeping forces on Ukrainian territory,” he said.
However, he added that the number of inspectors of the OSCE special monitoring mission would be increased and that tomorrow Ukraine would get “the first unmanned aerial vehicles that will be used to monitor the ceasefire.”
