Militants operating in Donbas have shelled Ukrainian positions 36 times over the past 24 hours, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported.
“There were thirty-six cases when militants opened fire. The shelling was carried out with the use of artillery guns, mortars, and Grad multiple rocket launchers,” reads the report.
In particular, militants shelled Verkhnia Olkhova, Stanytsia Luhanska, Triokhizbenka, Krymske, Kriakivka, Shchastia, Makarove and Nyzhnioteple in Luhansk region, as well as Olenivka, Novotroitske, Mykolaivka, Krasnohorivka, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Vesele, Tonennke and Berezove in Donetsk region.
“The situation has not changed in the Mariupol bridgehead. The positions of the anti-terrorist operation forces are well fortified and have a full range of capabilities for an adequate response to the aggressor,” the press center said.
