Terrorists in Yenakiyevo made another attempt to discredit the ATO forces. On a night to Monday, they shelled from mortars the settlement of Novoorlivka, trying to imitate violation of the truce on the part of Ukrainian security forces.
A Ukrainian officer, witness of the event, told Ukrinform about this.
“Our intelligence registered shelling of the settlement of Novoorlivka by separatists. Shelling was with the use 120-mm mortars and took place on a night for September 22 between 4-5 a.m. As a result, a house of a local teacher was fully ruined, another several premises were seriously damaged,” the witness said.
He added that a place, from where the shelling was carried out, was fixed and documented. “This was the bombardment, which was not provoked by the ATO. In the settlement of Novoorlivka there are no Ukrainian military at all,” the Ukrainian officer stressed.
According to the witness, terrorists systemically violate the ceasefire mode, in particular, the ATO forces are intensively bombarded in the area near Donetsk. Ukrainian forces, fulfilling the order, try not to respond to provocations.
