Six Ukrainian military missing near the settlement of Smile returned to the checkpoint, a search is made for another five military.
Deputy Head of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Volodymyr Polevyi told a briefing.
“The situation at the 32nd checkpoint, where the fighting continued during the last days, is not easy, but controlled. Shelling from mortars and small arms continue. Our military open back selective fire, conduct active counter-sabotage measures. Out of the eleven soldiers, who went missing a few days ago, six soldiers have returned to the checkpoint. Rescue works continue. To preserve the life of the military, details of the operation were not disclosed,” he said.
